Hello Emma

I feel compelled to message you with regards to the fantastic service that the Kelly Foundation has kindly blessed me with. I had my final session with S_ _ _ _ _ yesterday and let me tell you in no uncertain terms of the monumental positive change for the better it has had on my life! Firstly I want to say a very special thanks to S_ _ _ _ , she has been fantastic to work with and I believe that she is a credit to the counselling profession. She has all the qualities required for counselling in my humble opinion, kind, caring, attentive, friendly, intelligent and also keenly interested in understanding her clients. So I simply have to big her up to the max and will be forever grateful for the positive impact our time has had on me.

Before I met The Kelly Foundation I was subject to controlling behaviour and domestic violence I was left homeless and nowhere to turn to. I was put into contact with The Kelly Foundation and I finally felt like I had someone in my corner.

After being homeless for 11 months in a hotel with only four walls and my dog l was regularly visited and supported by Yyy and behind the scenes Xxx was quietly working with the housing department to get me somewhere l could restart my life and put the foundations in place for me to start over again.

Still only 21 l was over the moon when Xxx and Yyy told me the Council had awarded me a new build one bed flat in ----- giving me more than just four walls I now have somewhere I can call home and finally felt there was a light at the end of the tunnel.

I still have problems and struggle with the trauma I have been through however l am working on it but from a point so low when I couldn't see any point I am now looking forward to making something of my life.

The Kelly foundation were my only saving grace at a such a dark period in my life and if young people like myself had the opportunity to be able to work alongside them I'm sure they would be able to help so many more people find their light at the end of the tunnel …Without the Kelly Foundation's tireless & endless hard-work & support I'm not sure I'd be here today, I feel truly blessed to of been supported by such caring individuals who have nothing but the best interest of their clients at heart.

Hi K-----, how are you and your family doing? We're OK. M---- is doing a lot better now. The Kelly Foundation is amazing. I don't know where we would be if it hadn't of been for their help. Thank you so much for all your help too. Love to all. :-) Xxxxxx
